Head Chef

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Head Chef to organize the Kitchen’s activities. You will be the commander of the Kitchen and will be expected to work along with the Floor Manager in developing the team members to perform at the highest level in delivering superb customer service.

 Responsibilities:

  • Direct and control the Food preparation process and other related activities
  • Construct menus with new or existing culinary creations ensuring variety and quality
  • Plan orders of equipment and or ingredients according to shortages
  • Ensure to the timely delivery of meals
  • Make recommendations on how to improve the operations
  • In charge of managing and training of kitchen staff
  • Oversee the work of subordinates
  • Ensure that staff and surrounding are compliant with; sanitation, nutrition and safety regulations.
  • Foster a climate of team spirit and cooperation between coworkers

 

Qualification:

  • Heart NVQJ level 4 certificate with 1 year experience or Heart NVQJ level 3 certificate with 3 years’ experience, or 6 years working as a line cook.

 Cook & Chef

We are looking for qualified and experienced persons to fill the posts of cooks and chefs.

The successful candidates must be reliable, hardworking and passionate about food and customer service.  If you are creative, enthusiastic and willing to work a flexi- schedule including evenings, weekends and public holiday, and have over 2 years’ experience working in a large kitchen then we are looking for you.

The successful chef will possess a Heart NVQJ Level 2 Certificate or equivalent and the cook will possess a Heart NVQJ level 1 certificate or equivalent.
